lurppis: ESL and BLAST partner clubs receive at least $750,000 a year

Organizations that are both ESL and BLAST partners annually receive at least $750,000 from these tournament operators. This information was revealed by ENCE and MIBR co-owner Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen on the Know-it-Alls of CS podcast.

According to lurppis, a minimum payout of around $750,000 is what clubs that are not very popular and are not able to consistently show good results can count on. At the same time, well-known brands like NAVI and G2 receive much more from ESL and BLAST – over $1.5 million annually.

Earlier, other representatives of the industry spoke about the financial details of partner leagues. In particular, NAVI CEO Yevhen Zolotarov noted that in 2021, the Black-and-Yellow received over $2 million from ESL.

The ESL partner system currently includes 15 members: Astralis, BIG, Complexity, ENCE, Evil Geniuses, FaZe, FURIA, fnatic, G2, MOUZ, NAVI, NIP, Liquid, Heroic and Vitality. In turn, 12 clubs cooperate with BLAST, including Astralis, BIG, Complexity, Evil Geniuses, FaZe, G2, NAVI, NIP, Liquid, Heroic, Vitality and OG.
