Virtus.pro win showmatch against 9z and secure $100,000 in prizes

Virtus.pro won the FiReLEAGUE Battle 2023 showmatch, as Dzhami "Jame" Ali's squad bested 9z with a scoreline of 2:0 (16:7 on Ancient and 16:5 on Inferno), thus securing $100,000 in prize money.

In turn, despite losing, 9z also secured $50,000.

Notably, before the start of the match, Virtus.pro had unpleasant news, as due to a hand injury, David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan wasn't able to help the team in the showmatch. As a result, the club announced the signing of Nikolay "mir" Bityukov, who went to Argentina with the roster.

The next tournament for the Russian team will be the qualifier for Thunderpick World Championship 2023, which will play out from July 27 to August 13.
