chelo departs Imperial

Brazilian club Imperial announced via their social media accounts parting ways with Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes. This is the second roster change for the team in 24 hours, as yesterday, July 2, the organization bid farewell to Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo.

chelo joined Imperial in August 2022 from MIBR. During this time, the 25-year-old esports athlete helped the team to win several tournaments, including BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023, and also participated in IEM Rio Major 2022.

Given the latest rumors, Cespedes will pursue his career with FalleN in FURIA. In turn, Imperial is interested in signing Fluxo's João "felps" Vasconcellos and Henrique "HEN1" Teles, who recently departed MIBR.
