Kasper Straube to become Astralis' new Sports Director

Danish organization Astralis has announced signing of a new Sports Director. Kasper Straube, will officially take on the role on October 1.

Straube is currently a Head of Performance for Heroic's CS:GO roster. The Dane has been with the club since November 2022. He reportedly contacted Astralis through his advisor after the Sports Director position became vacant.

The parties did not comment on Straube's appointment to a new position out of respect for Dane's current employer.

Earlier Astralis announced parting ways with Sports Director Kasper Hvidt and Head Analyst Nikolai "HUNDEN" Petersen.
