Staehr and b0RUP join Astralis

Danish club Astralis unveiled an updated roster, as Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Alexander "Altekz" Givskov departed the team, while Viktor "Staehr" Staehr and Johannes "b0RUP" Borup replaced them.

gla1ve has been Astralis' IGL for seven years. Together with the team, the Dane won four Majors, a number of tier 1 tournaments, and also secured Intel Grand Slam S1 title. In turn, Givskov joined the team in April, taking the place of Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth.

The interest of the Danish club in Staehr became known recently, shared by insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov. The previous team of the esports athlete was Sprout, for which he has been competing since January last year. In turn, b0RUP became known for his stints with Heroic, but spent the last year competing for Copenhagen Flames.

gla1ve was reportedly benched, just like Xyp9x, who was left out of the youth roster after Altekz's return. This is not the only roster change for Astralis, as yesterday, June 21, the club parted ways with Sports Director Kasper Hvidt and Head Analyst Nikolai "HUNDEN" Petersen.

 Astralis' current lineup is:

 Benjamin "blameF" Bremer
 Nicolai "device" Reedtz
 Christian "Buzz" Andersen
Viktor "Staehr" Staehr
Johannes "b0RUP" Borup

 Peter "castle" Ardenskjold (coach)
