HLTV.org: Astralis part ways with gla1ve and sign Staehr
Astralis has decided to bench Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, as HLTV.org found out. It is expected that in the near future Danish club will announce Sprout's Victor "Staehr" Staehr as a newcomer, replacing the long-term team's IGL.
Earlier, insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov reported that Astralis had reached a preliminary agreement with Staehr, who was supposed to join the organization in six months as a free agent. According to HLTV.org, the Danish giant wanted to speed up the process and agreed with Sprout on the acquisition in the current transfer window.
gla1ve has competed for Astralis since the organization was founded in 2016. Since then, under his leadership, the team has won multiple prestigious events, including four Majors.
Should the information about the parting ways with gla1ve be officially confirmed, Benjamin "blameF" Bremer will take on IGL role in Astralis. In 2023, he already was the in-game leader on several maps and, in addition, has experience as Complexity's IGL.
The information about gla1ve's replacement with Staehr was published amidst a large-scale restructuring of Astralis, which began with the departure of Sports Director Kasper Hvidt and Head Analyst Nikolai "HUNDEN" Petersen.
Suggested Astralis lineup for the new season looks as follows:
 Benjamin "blameF" Bremer
Benjamin "blameF" Bremer Nicolai "device" Reedtz
Nicolai "device" Reedtz Christian "Buzz" Andersen
Christian "Buzz" Andersen Alexander "Altekz" Givskov
Alexander "Altekz" Givskov Victor "Staehr" Staehr
