Developers unveil official CS2 weapon models, including Zeus x27

Valve has published official Counter-Strike 2 weapon models for use in the Workshop. Among them, there was a Zeus x27 model, which may be a hint at the imminent release of skins for the electroshock weapon.

The files are in the open access on the official Counter-Strike website. From now on, everyone will be able to start creating skins for weapons. As it became known from the published archive, the developers doubled the texture resolution. Also, users will now have more room for working with light due to an improved reflection system.

It is known that skins will be created with a new Counter-Strike 2 toolkit, which has not yet been released.

Valve announced Counter-Strike 2 at the end of March, but the developers did not disclose the exact release date. At the same time, the company launched the Limited Test, with selected esports athletes and casual players receiving access to it.
