hallzerk to miss IEM Dallas 2023; Sonic to replace him

Complexity's AWPer Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli will miss IEM Dallas 2023. Aran "Sonic" Groesbeek will take his place in the roster, as the South African esports athlete shared via his Twitter account.

Possibly, the reason for hallzerk not being on Complexity roster are visa problems, which first became known of in early May. Since then, the Norwegian sniper has never been able to get papers to go to the United States.

In turn, Sonic was included in the lineup in advance, but until now he had not been confirmed as a full-fledged replacement for the Norwegian. Notably, the South African is familiar with Complexity's core, with which he competed for Bravado, ATK, Cloud9 and Extra Salt.

Complexity will debut at IEM Dallas 2023 tomorrow, May 29. In the first match of the group stage, the team will face ENCE.
