ATK to compete at ESL Pro League Season 18

ATK will take part in the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 18, as the roster's player Michael "Swisher" Schmid announced via his Twitter account.

This became possible after ATK's victory against paiN at ESL Challenger League Season 45 Americas. Despite taling the third place, the team managed to qualify for the upcoming ESL Pro League Season 18.

Firstly, the Brazilian team MIBR, which will compete in the final of the tournament, has already secured the corresponding spot due to the victory in the previous season of ESL Challenger League.

In turn, EG Black, who will also play in the final of the event, cannot qualify for the EPL sport, as it will create a conflict of interest with the main Evil Geniuses roster, which has the status of an ESL partner and a permanent membership in the league.

ESL Pro League Season 18 will play out in Malta from August 15 to September 24, with 32 teams competing for $850,000 in prize money. Fifteen partners of the tournament operator, ESL invitees and the winners of various qualifiers will take part in the event.
