ZywOo is IEM Rio 2023 MVP

HLTV.org called Vitality's AWPer Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut the IEM Rio 2023 MVP, as the Frenchman finished the tournament, which his team won, with an average rating of 1.31.

ZywOo played 15 maps at the event in Rio de Janeiro. In the final, the French sniper played two maps with a 1.25 rating, becoming the second player on the server after Emil "Magisk" Reif. Herbaut's best map in the tournament was Inferno in the series against OG, which he finished with a 2.31 rating.

This is the 14th MVP title in ZywOo's career and the first one this season. The previous award was received by the Frenchman at ESL Pro League Season 16.

IEM Rio 2023 took place from April 17 to 23 in Brazil. At the tournament, sixteen teams competed for $250,000 in prize money and a ticket to IEM Cologne 2023.
