markeloff joins ESC Gaming as ambassador

The German club ESC Gaming introduced via their social media accounts Yegor "markeloff" Markelov as an ambassador and content creator. The legendary Ukrainian AWPer returns to the esports scene after five years of inactivity.

markeloff competed on the professional stage from 2004 to 2018. Ukrainian's career peaked when he played for the champion NAVI roster, winning several big events at the end of CS 1.6. FlipSid3 were Ukrainian's last team, but in March 2018 he departed the starting five and ended his career.

During his career, markeloff secured the MVP award for TECHLABS Cup 2013 Grand Final, and placed 15th in the 2013 best player list.

ESC Gaming is a well-known organization in the past, for which the Polish Golden five led by Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas competed from 2011 to 2013. Astralis IGL Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and BIG coach Fatih "gob b" Dayik also went through the club's system.

In his new role, Markelov will promote ESC Gaming through content creation. Additional details of cooperation were not disclosed.
