KRU Esports, an organization founded by ex-Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero, intends to enter Counter-Strike pro scene. The Argentinean spoke about this during a recent Twitch stream, clips from which were shared by Dust2 Brasil.

According to Agüero, the club almost signed the ex-Isurus roster in February, but the players themselves ultimately decided to join BESTIA.

Nevertheless, KRU Esports do not give up on assembling a Counter-Strike lineup. The organization's owner intends to run an open tournament in Argentina, with best players getting a position in the squad.

KRU Esports was founded at the end of 2020. Today, the organization has rosters competing in FIFA, Valorant and Rocket League disciplines.
