FaZe secure $1,000,000 for winning Intel Grand Slam Season 4

ESL Pro League Season 17 title became the fourth for FaZe in the Intel Grand Slam Season 4 standings, which allowed them to win the prestigious award, securing $1 million in gold bars.

To win Intel Grand Slam, the roster had to win four ESL Pro Tour tournaments during a period of ten consecutive events, which must include at least one of IEM Katowice or IEM Cologne. FaZe won the titles at IEM Katowice 2022, ESL Pro League Season 15, IEM Cologne 2022, and ESL Pro League Season 17.

Even in case of failure at the ESL event, the European team still would have had two more tournaments to win $1 million. Cloud9, Vitality, Outsiders and G2 would have continued to compete against FaZe.

The winners of the first three IGS seasons were Astralis, Liquid and NAVI. These rosters secured their awards in 2018, 2019 and 2021, respectively.
