Bug with picking up weapons after death found in Counter-Strike 2

American streamer Eric "fl0m" Flom discovered during Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test an interesting bug, which allowed player to pick up the dropped weapon after death, saving it at the start of the next round.

During a stream, Flom encountered a CS2 glitch. After death, being on CT side, he pressed the pickup button and saw a message that he had picked up an AK-47. At the same time, at the start of the next round, the American found equipped the weapon he gad previously picked up. A similar bug was repeated again during the match.

The Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test is currently underway, with selected esports athletes and players having access to it. It will be open until the summer 2023, when the developers will resolve all big issues and officially release the game for everyone.
