Liquid secure last spot at ESL Pro League S17 playoffs; FORZE through to quarter-finals

ESL Pro League Season 17 Group D has ended. The final playday of the group stage saw Liquid securing the last playoff ticket and FORZE advancing to the quarter-finals of the tournament.

In a match for a playoff ticket, Liquid bested Astralis with a scoreline of 2:0 – 16:8 on Nuke  16:12 на Mirage. With this victory, the team advanced to the Round of 16, where they will face paiN, FURIA or G2.

In turn, FORZE took over ENCE with a scoreline of 2:0 – 16:3 on Overpass and 16:13 on Anubis. As a result, the Russian roster took Group D's first place, securing a ticket directly to the quarter-finals. Despite the defeat, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's squad advanced to the Round of 12.
