IESF World Championship 2023 dates and venue announced

In 2023, the CS:GO International Esports Federation (IESF) World Championship will be held in Iasi, Romania from August 24 to September 4, as the organizers announced via their official website.

Besides CS:GO, IESF World Championship 2023 will feature eFootball, Dota 2, Tekken, Mobile Legends, and PUBG Mobile tournaments. Event’s total prize pool will amount to $500,000, though, as of now, it is unknown how it will be divided among all disciplines.

In CS:GO, championships are planned for both men's and women's teams. Rosters formed on a national basis are eligible to participate, just like in every discipline presented at the IESF World Championship 2023.

The previous IESF World Championship was held in December last year in Bali, Indonesia. North Macedonian team in BLUEJAYS won the men's tournament, while the Polish roster made up of NAVI Javelins players won the women's tournament.
