Aleksib speaks about possible return of hampus to NIP

NIP's IGL Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen talked in an interview with the ESL Pro League Season 17 organizers about the possibility of Hampus "hampus" Poser coming out of the inactivity. According to him, the Swedish player received an indefinite time to rest and his return to the squad will be sorted out after his full recovery.

Aleksib clarified that the club signed Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke not as a temporary replacement for hampus, but as a permanent player.

k0nfig signing? I would say it's permanent. The thing is that hampus needed some time off, an undefined amount. I said it on the meeting, it's certainly my opinion that if he puts a timer on it, I feel like he's only gonna think about the timer. Let's say he is coming back in two months, then he's gonna think about the two months. And then once he comes back, it's not enough. I just told him that he should take as much as he needs and when he is ready to come back, when he wants to come back, than we just take that idea in front of us and we see what the situation is.

The information on hampus going inactive became public at the end of January. NIP reported that the esports athlete took a break from his career at least until the second half of 2023 due to personal reasons.
