"Too expensive". LOUD's CEO on possible signing of CS:GO roster

During a stream on his Twitch channel, the CEO of a large Brazilian organization LOUD, Bruno Bittencourt, assured that his club will not expand by signing a CS:GO roster in the near future. He believes that under current conditions it is very expensive to assemble a competitive team in Valve's shooter.

CS:GO is a very challenging discipline. Are we going to sign a roster that will win every Major? It is very difficult and very expensive. As of now, a tier 1 player is worth anywhere between $400,000 and $600,000. Do we want to expand into new games? Of course we do. Is it possible to assemble a competitive CS:GO roster at the moment? It's almost impossible.

Bittencourt added that his statement does not mean a refusal to create a CS:GO team in the future. According to LOUD's CEO, he likes this discipline, and the club will be competing in Valve's shooter as soon as it becomes economically feasible.

LOUD is one of the most famous Brazil-based esports organizations. It was founded in 2019 and is currently represented in four disciplines: Free Fire, Fortnite, League of Legends and Valorant. LOUD's main success is winning 2022 Valorant Champions.
