Academy league launched in South America

Tournament operator FiReLEAGUE has launched a junior tournament in South America called FiReLEAGUE Academy 2023, which started on March 6 and ends on March 18.

At FiReLEAGUE Academy 2023, eight teams compete for a $20,000 prize pool. The tournament is divided into an online event, which will determine the two strongest participants, and a LAN final, which will be held in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.

FiReLEAGUE Academy 2023 became the second tournament on the professional CS:GO scene, held exclusively for junior rosters. WePlay Academy League is the most well-known academy championship, which ran for six seasons from 2021 to 2022.
