ENCE announce Nertz transfer from Endpoint
ENCE have announced via their official website the acquisition of Guy "Nertz" Iluz from Endpoint. The transfer amount for the 23-year-old Israeli has not been disclosed.
The newcomer to ENCE joins in place of Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså. A few days ago, the Danish esports athlete, who had represented the team since August last year, was moved to the bench.
Nertz had been playing for Endpoint since the end of 2021 and during this time has established himself as the roster's statistical leader. Together with his teammates, he took part mainly in tier-2 events and only a few times made it to bigger tournaments, such as ESL Pro League Season 16 (21-24th place) and the RMR event for IEM Rio Major 2022 (12-14th place).
ENCE's first matches after Iluz's signing will take place in mid-March at ESL Pro League Season 17. Currently, the team is competing at CCT Central Europe Malta Finals 1, fielding Henri "HENU" Ylilehto from the club's academy team as a stand-in.
ENCE current lineup is:
Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Paweł "dycha" Dycha
Pavle "Maden" Bošković
Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia
Guy "Nertz" Iluz
Eetu "sAw" Saha (coach)
