ESL to broadcast its tournaments on different platforms upon expiration of deal with Twitch

Starting from IEM Katowice 2023, all ESL tournaments will be broadcasted not only on Twitch but also on YouTube, the tournament operator announced via its social media accounts.

ESL has expanded its platform reach for tournament broadcasting after the expiration of its contract with Twitch. In 2021 and 2022, the most popular streaming service had exclusive rights to broadcast events under the auspices of ESL and DreamHack.

Among tournament operators that broadcast their competitions on both Twitch and YouTube, ESL joined competitors in BLAST and PGL.

English-language livestreams of IEM Katowice 2023 on YouTube will be available on the official ESL channel via this link. The prestigious tournament will take place in Poland on February 1-12.
