G2 commit to Swani as team's coach

G2's analyst Jan "Swani" Müller, who had been serving as the interim coach since October 2022, has now become a full-fledged coach of the team, the European squad's member Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač said in an interview to HLTV.org

According to the esports athlete, after parting ways with their previous coach Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam, the team did not want to bring in anyone else and instead decided to trust Swani, who has been working with the players for a long time.

Swani is our permanent coach, we are not looking for other coaches. He will stay and be our coach because, as I said, we were changing things almost every player break in the last three or four times. Now we won in Abu Dhabi and after everything that happened to us, after losing in the RMR, after losing our coach and manager, we stayed together. We didn't stop believing in ourselves during this time, and Swani was with us all the time as a big part of it. There's no reason to change for now at least, he will be our coach for the future. We really don't want to add somebody who will ruin the atmosphere and chemistry that we are having right now.

Müller has been with G2 since 2019, when he joined the coaching staff as an analyst. Prior to that, he held similar positions in Liquid, SK, MIBR, NRG, and FURIA.
