Evil Geniuses add junior as stand-in for Black roster

American player Paytyn "junior" Johnson, who has a valid contract with Complexity, has temporarily joined the EG Black roster, which is a part of Evil Geniuses' CS:GO division. The AWPer has been included in the team's lineup submitted for fl0m Cup 2023.

junior stood in for EG Black's AWPer Jerric "wiz" Jiang, who, according to rumors, will play for Evil Geniuses' main squad at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023, where he will take the place of Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, who left the club earlier.

Johnson has been on the Complexity bench since mid-2022, when the club signed Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli. Since then, he has made only a couple of appearances in various regional competitions and is now on the transfer list.

Together with junior, EG Black had a successful start at fl0m Cup 2023, where they beat 4Bots & Eric in their first match. The online event, which was organized by the famous American streamer Erik "fl0m" Flom, will conclude on January 15.
