karrigan: "I think it was pretty obvious that FaZe didn't manage to close out games"

FaZe's in-game leader Finn "karrigan" Andersen commented in an interview with the organizers of BLAST Premier World Final 2022 on his team's elimination after falling to G2 in the semifinals. In particular, the Danish esports athlete noted that his squad has a hard time winning last rounds having a lead.

I think it was pretty obvious that we didn't manage to close out games. We've done it all year. So at some point, when we lost Nuke, I told the guys that we had closed so many of these games where we were behind. Obviously, I think we are a little burned out but I also I think G2 played really good. It's the first time I feel like we got really outplayed on CT side Inferno and I feel like they had a good read on what we were doing, and so did we on T side. But yeah, obviously disappointed right now, but I also have to look back. It has been a long year for us and I'm proud to have taken home four trophies.

FaZe lost to G2 with a 0:2 scoreline. For Andersen's men, the tournament in Abu Dhabi was the last before the winter off-season.
