Report: IEM Spring 2023 to be held in Brazil [Updated]

Update (21:26 MSK): ESL has confirmed on social media the holding of the tournament in Brazil next year. The $250,000 championship was named IEM Brazil 2023. More details are expected shortly.

ESL has decided on the venue for the big LAN tournament IEM Spring 2023, which will be held in Brazil, Globo Esporte reports.

According to the source, the official announcement of the championship should take place shortly after the conclusion of IEM Rio Major 2022, which is currently playing out in Rio de Janeiro. ESL, however, has yet to comment on this information.

Based on the previously published ESL's tournament calendar for next year, IEM Spring 2023 will run from April 17 to 23. In its announcement, the tournament operator did not indicate the venue and the prize pool of the event.

Besides IEM Spring 2023, the calendar of big ESL Pro Tour competitions for 2023 also includes another event, the venue of which has not been revealed, namely IEM Fall 2023, scheduled for November 16-22.
