NAVI Head of Esports explains reasons for exit from Major

Giving an interview to NAVI's YouTube channel, the club's Head of Esports Amiran "ami" Rekhviashvili spoke about the reasons for the defeat by FURIA in the quarterfinals of IEM Rio Major 2022, after which the Black-and-Yellow side was eliminated from the competition. According to the head, the exit was the result of mistakes and lack of concentration among some players.

It was a deserved loss. We couldn't deal with the pressure. We were fully prepared for the tournament. But some mistakes and the lack of concentration of some of the guys led to this result. The crowd is insane and I think it might help the Brazilians win the event. Despite our solid preparation, our playstyle, tactics, and our form, we were playing against the team that just runs at you and plays aggressively, so it wasn't enough. <...> There were a lot of factors during our preparation, when being here and overall. We know what to do going forward.

NAVI finished IEM Rio Major 2022 in 5-8th place, along with Team Spirit, Cloud9 and fnatic. All these teams earned $45,000 from the total prize pool of the tournament.
