Heroic eliminate Team Spirit from IEM Rio Major 2022 playoffs

The quarterfinal match at IEM Rio Major 2022 saw Heroic defeat Team Spirit 2:0 – 16:8 на Vertigo и 16:14 на Overpass. The winners advance to the semifinals while the losing team ended their run at the tournament.

Team Spirit finished the Major in 5-8th place, joining fnatic and Cloud9. The CIS squad earned $45,000 from the total prize pool of the event.

The IEM Rio Major 2022 semifinal featuring Heroic will take place tomorrow, November 12, at 23:30 MSK. The opponents of the Danes will be determined following the results of the confrontation between NAVI and FURIA.
