FURIA advance to IEM Rio Major 2022 playoffs; Sprout beat NIP in elimination match

FURIA secured three consecutive victories in the Legends Stage at IEM Rio Major 2022 and joined Cloud9 among the teams that will play in the playoffs. In the third round of the Legends Stage, the Brazilians came out on top of BIG 2:0 – 16:9 on Nuke and 16:6 on Vertigo.

Another outsider of the current stage of the tournament was also determined. Besides FaZe, who had been eliminated earlier, NIP finished their run at the event after falling to Sprout 0:2 – 11:16 on Vertigo and 14:16 on Ancient.
