Bad News Eagles, fnatic and GamerLegion through to IEM Rio Major 2022

The fifth round at IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR A has come to an end, following which forZe, fnatic and GamerLegion joined the list of teams taking part in the upcoming Major. The squads earned tickets to Brazil after three victories at the ongoing qualifying tournament.

Bad News Eagles secured their third win in a match against forZe (13:16 on Dust2, 16:12 on Ancient and 16:4 on Mirage), fnatic bested 1WIN (16:5 on Overpass and 16:9 on Ancient), while GamerLegion got the better of B8 (16:12 on Overpass and 16:10 on Nuke). The losing teams finished the RMR event with a 2-3 record.

The IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR A schedule has only one additional match left between Team Spirit and Cloud9 for the better seed at the Major. Tomorrow, October 9, at 15:30 MSK, the rosters will start the encounter for fourth place giving the right to skip the Challengers Stage and start the Major from the Legends Stage.
