HEET, Monte and Illuminar lose their chances of making IEM Rio Major 2022 appearance

Three teams finish their runs at IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR B now that the matches of the fourth round have been played. Having suffered three defeats, Falcons, Monte and Illuminar lost their chances of getting a spot among the participants in the upcoming Major.

The French HEET roster bombed out of the competition after losing to its compatriots from Falcons (9:16 on Vertigo, 16:13 on Overpass and 17:19 on Dust2), Monte was defeated by K23 (17:19 on Mirage and 11:16 on Ancient), while Illuminar fell to Sangal (10:16 on Ancient and 6:16 on Dust2). The winners of these matches retain the opportunity to qualify for IEM Rio Major 2022 if they succeed in the RMR's fifth round.

Tomorrow, October 9, IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR B will continue with matches for three tickets to the Major, which will be battled out in the following pairings: BIG – K23, MOUZ – Sangal и Outsiders – Falcons. There will also be rematches for 3-5th places: the winner of the Heroic – Vitality matchup will face OG for the right to start the Major from the second stage.
