dupreeh becomes the only player to attend all Majors in CS:GO's history

Vitality's Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen is the only esports athlete to take part in every Major in the history of CS:GO. The Dane qualified for his eighteenth Valve-sponsored tournament after defeating MOUZ at the European RMR event.

In the company of players who have never missed a Major, dupreeh could have been joined by his former long-term teammate Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth and the Frenchman Richard "shox" Papillon, but earlier they both bombed out of the qualifier for IEM Rio Major 2022. The Dane representing Astralis was eliminated from the RMR yesterday, September 7, while shox, being part of Apeks, failed to make it through the open qualifiers for the qualifying tournament.

dupreeh has been playing at the highest level of the CS:GO pro scene since 2013, when he first attended the Major as part of Copenhagen Wolves. His further Major appearances were with Dignitas, TSM and Astralis. In the camp of the latter, Rasmussen gained the greatest fame thanks to victories at four Valve-sponsored events.

IEM Rio Major 2022 will take place from October 31 to November 13 in Rio de Janeiro. Attending the competition in Brazil will be 24 teams that will battle out a total prize fund of $1.25 million.
