NAVI beat Outsiders to book IEM Rio 2022 berth

NAVI got the better of Outsiders in the match of the third round at IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR B thus advancing to IEM Rio 2022 having secured three wins. The meeting ended 2:0 – 16:13 on Mirage and 16:4 on Inferno.

Thanks to the successful performance at the European RMR event, Denis "electroNic" Sharipov's squad will start the Major in Rio de Janeiro from the Legends Stage, which plays out right after the starting Challengers Stage.

The third round at IEM Road to Rio 2022 Europe RMR B also saw four matches of the teams with a 1-1 record. Heroic, Vitality, OG and MOUZ defeated Sangal, Monte, Falcons and K23, respectively, moving them to the 2-1 pool, while the losing teams will face elimination given they lose their next matches.

The Europe RMR's third round will continue tomorrow, October 7, with three matches kicking off at 12:00 MSK. ENCE and BIG will battle for a ticket to the Legends Stage of the upcoming Major, while the losers from the HEET – SAW and FANTASY – Illuminar pairings will finish their RMR run.
