FaZe beat Cloud9 in ESL Pro League Season 16 quarterfinal

The quarterfinal match at ESL Pro League Season 16 between Cloud9 and FaZe ended with the victory of Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov's squad 2:1 – 13:16 on Inferno, 16:8 on Ancient and 16:11 on Mirage. The result saw the current leader of the world ranking advance to the semis, while Finn "karrigan" Andresen and company were eliminated from the tournament.

In the semifinals of the ESL Pro League's sixteenth season, Cloud9 will take on Liquid, who knocked out MOUZ from the playoffs later today. The match determining one of the finalists will take place on October 1.

FaZe finished the competition in 5-8th place. The team advanced to the playoffs from second place in Group B after victories over FTW, MIBR, Outsiders and BIG.
