G2 extend their winning streak at ESL Pro League Season 16

G2 have become the sole leaders of Group B at ESL Pro League Season 16. In the fourth round, the Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen-led squad took over the main competitors FaZe 2:0 – 16:7 on Dust2 and 16:12 on Nuke.

G2 still have not guaranteed themselves first place in Group B, which would send them directly to the quarterfinals in the playoffs. The European roster's rivals for the best final position are Outsiders – these two participants will face off in the final round of the group, which will take place tomorrow, September 11.

Another defining match of the fifth round will be the meeting between FaZe and BIG. These two teams will compete for joining G2 and Outsiders in the top 3.

The third matchup of the last matchday in Group B MIBR – FTW will not affect the final position since both teams lost their chances of reaching the playoffs.
