Dexerto: BLAST to host first Major of 2023 in France

Tournament operator BLAST will be the organizer of the first Major in 2023, Dexerto has learned, citing sources close to the matter in its report.

According to the information published, the Major will take place from May 8 to 21 in France. The most likely city to host the tournament is Paris.

BLAST has never held a Valve-sponsored event. The company entered the CS:GO pro scene in 2017 and started organizing single events in different cities around the world. In 2020, it announced a full-fledged tournament calendar for the year, where after the spring and fall seasons a World Final takes place.

Earlier, BLAST Managing Director Charlotte Kenny spoke about her company's interest in hosting a Major. According to the head, if BLAST gets such an opportunity, it will be the best Major in history.
