Former Arsenal footballer Nicklas Bendtner creates his own CS:GO team

Former professional footballer Nicklas Bendtner, best known for his time with London's Arsenal, has announced the creation of his own CS:GO roster. The team will play under the name Prosapia.

The lineup consists of five Danish players aged 15 to 19 who do not have extensive experience playing at a professional level. It has been reported that they will take part mainly in Danish competitions.

Commenting on the creation of the roster, Bendtner noted that the reason for this decision was the desire to develop young players in his country. According to the Dane, he became fond of CS:GO shortly after the start of the pandemic, as this game helped him live through the period of self-isolation.

The debut tournament for Prosapia will be POWER League Season 21 kicking off on September 12. Besides Bendtner's team, the event with a prize pool of $10,000 will feature Astralis and Copenhagen Flames' academy rosters, as well as Tricked and a number of other Danish squads.

 Prosapia's current lineup is:

 Rasmus "Equip" Christensen
 Rasmus "Scr0b" Poulsen
 Jonas "Boye" Østergaard
 William "sirah" Kjærsgaard
 Alexander "tOPZ" Miklagard
