Imperial and Wings Up advance to ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022 playoffs

Imperial and Wings Up finished in second place in their respective groups at ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022, thus securing their participation in the playoffs. In the decisive matches, the Brazilian team took over Grayhound (16:8 on Inferno and 16:12 on Nuke), while the Chinese squad unexpectedly came out on top of the main favorite of the tournament OG (16:13 on Inferno and Ancient).

Having placed third in the groups, Grayhound and OG earned $3,000 each. In turn, Evil Geniuses and VERTEX, who finished their runs as the main outsiders, received $2,000 each.
