Rumors: Zyphon close to moving to Sprout; raalz could be part of the deal

Sprout and Copenhagen Flames are close to reaching an agreement on the transfer of Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss, as reported by BLIX.gg, citing its own sources.

Journalists have learned that Rasmus "⁠raalz" Steensborg, who Copenhagen Flames consider as one of the members of the new roster, could be part of the deal between the clubs. Today, August 1, it was announced that the 27-year-old is no longer part of Sprout's starting five.

Zyphon is the only player from the former Copenhagen Flames lineup to remain without a team for the upcoming season. Previously, the Danes sold Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen to fnatic, Jakob "⁠jabbi⁠" Nygaard to Heroic, and Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, as rumored, to G2.

The Sprout roster currently features three players. The German organization has to finalize the lineup by its debut at ESL Challenger Season 42 Europe on August 16.
