Report: fnx to leave Imperial

The Imperial roster will undergo changes during the summer break in the professional CS:GO scene, according to a report by DRAFT5. Journalists learned that the team intends to part ways with Lincoln "fnx" Lau.

According to the source, Imperial have already started looking for a new player. Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt (paiN), Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves (Sharks), Jhonatan "JOTA" Willian (MIBR) and Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes (MIBR) are being considered as possible replacements for Lau.

fnx has been representing Imperial since the creation of the roster at the beginning of this year. During this time, the only success the team had at big tournaments was taking 9-11th place at PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

The rumors about Imperial's reshuffle come following a series of poor results that the squad has had since it stopped a step away from advancing to the playoffs of the Major. The Brazilians took last places at IEM Dallas 2022, REPUBLEAGUE Season 3 and Roobet Cup 2022, as well as had penultimate place finishes at Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 and IEM Cologne 2022.
