OverDrive on new G2 IGL: "I heard that one of the options is ALEX"

G2 are considering Alex "ALEX" McMeekin as one of the options to fill the in-game leader role, insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov shared the rumor during a broadcast on his Twitch channel.

I heard that one of the options is ALEX from fnatic. They are considering him for the captaincy.

G2 are now looking for options to strengthen their roster. After an unsuccessful first half of the current year, where the best achievement was reaching the grand final of IEM Katowice 2022, the European organization transfer-listed captain Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen and, according to insider Guillaume "neL" Ratier, allowed Audric "JACKZ" Jug to explore new career opportunities.
