FaZe are now one step away from winning Intel Grand Slam Season 4 race

The triumph at IEM Cologne 2022 brought FaZe as close as possible to winning the fourth season of the Intel Grand Slam award. To receive the $1 million in gold bars that the winner is entitled to, the Europeans need to win one of the two already announced ESL tournaments.

The ESL Pro League Season 16 or IEM Rio 2022 Major title will ensure FaZe's victory in the Intel Grand Slam Season 4 race. The team that stops Finn "karrigan" Andersen's squad from winning the IGS will receive $100,000 from the award organizers.

According to the rules of the fourth Intel Grand Slam season, to complete it, a team needs to win three ESL Pro Tour Masters tournaments and one Championship event (IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne and Majors hosted by ESL) within a span of ten consecutive tournaments.

As of now, FaZe have won IEM Katowice 2022, ESL Pro League Season 15 and IEM Cologne 2022. Besides this team, the race still features Vitality and Cloud9.
