NIP and Movistar Riders kick off IEM Cologne 2022 group stage with victories

NIP and Movistar Riders have won their opening matches of the IEM Cologne 2022 group stage. In Group A, the Swedish squad took over Heroic (16:13 on Ancient and Inferno), while the Spaniards got the better of G2 (16:12 on Vertigo and 16:9 on Inferno).

The winners advanced to the upper bracket semifinals of Group A, where tomorrow, July 8, they will battle out a ticket to the playoffs. NIP will face the best team from the NAVI – MOUZ matchup, while Movistar Riders will go up against the winner of the clash between Vitality and ENCE.
