Heroic move refrezh to the bench

Ismail "refrezh" Ali has been moved to the bench of Heroic, the Danish organization announced on its official website.

As the reason for the reshuffle, Heroic cited the desire "to try something new" in order to improve their results. At the same time, the club paid tribute to refrezh's significant contribution to the latest achievements of the roster and his personal qualities as an esports athlete.

Ali has represented Heroic since February 2021. Together with him, the club won ESL Pro League Season 13, Europe RMR – Antwerp 2022 and Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, and also had good runs at many other big tournaments. At the last Major, which was held in Belgium, the Danes made it to the top 8.

As of now, there is no information about who will fill the vacant spot in the Danish team. According to recent rumors, Heroic is interested in acquiring Copenhagen Flames player Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard, who was transfer-listed along with the rest of the team in early June.

Heroic have only two weeks left for practicing with the renewed roster before IEM Cologne 2022. The prestigious event with $1 million in prize money will take place from July 5 to 17.
