BIG's Krimbo to miss Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 playoffs due to COVID-19

In the run-up to the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 playoffs, Karim "Krimbo" Moussa from BIG tested positive for coronavirus and therefore will miss the decisive stage of the tournament, the German organization announced on Twitter.

Nils "k1to" Gruhne, who has been on the sidelines since March of this year, arrived in Sweden, where the event is being held, to step in for Krimbo.

BIG's announcement was made shortly before the start of the match against Astralis in the upper bracket final. The German team will face the Danes today, June 10, at 21:00 MSK.

The ongoing LAN tournament will conclude on June 11. Besides BIG and Astralis, the Heroic and Finest rosters, who started the playoffs from the lower bracket, will also fight for the trophy.

In the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 playoffs,  BIG will play with the following roster:
