Copenhagen Flames to miss Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022

Copenhagen Flames have withdrawn from Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, which will be held next week in the Swedish city of Lund, the tournament organizers announced on their social media.

The information about the Copenhagen Flames' withdrawal from the upcoming event came amid rumors that some of the players are ready to continue their careers in other organizations. Earlier, the Danish team also turned down the invitation to IEM Dallas 2022.

Finest were invited to Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 to fill in the vacated place in the tournament's team list. At the end of May, the European roster won Pinnacle Cup IV, receiving $80,000 from a total prize pool.

Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 is scheduled to take place from June 8 to 11. Eight participants will compete for $250,000 in prize money: Astralis, BIG, Evil Geniuses, fnatic, Heroic, Imperial, MIBR, and Finest.
