Sprout win ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 Europe Closed Qualifier

Sprout will attend ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 as the winners of the European qualifier. In the final match of the regional qualifier, Rasmus "⁠raalz" Steensborg's squad came out on top of MOUZ 2:0 – 16:14 on Vertigo and 16:12 on Inferno.

The final, closed part of the European qualifier for the LAN tournament was held on from May 25 to 27 in the Double Elimination best-of-three format. On the way to the final game, Sprout beat Entropiq, HEET and MOUZ.

In the ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 team list, Sprout joined the previously announced direct invitees, as well as the best teams of the Asian and South American qualifiers Rare Atom and Sao Caetano, respectively. The winners of the North American qualifier will be known on the night of May 28.

ESL Challenger Valencia 2022 is set to take place from July 1 to 3 with a total prize pool of $100,000. The champions will also secure the ticket to EPL Conference Season 17.
