forZe players get visas to Belgium to take part in PGL Major Antwerp 2022

forZe will be able to attend PGL Major Antwerp 2022 in Belgium with a full squad, despite the previously known difficulties with getting visas for the Russian players, Manager Dmitry "spirit" Veko announced on his VK group.

According to Veko, the Belgian Foreign Ministry approved the forZe roster's application for a visa, but the country's consulate in Russia refused to enter data into the players' passports due to holidays in their work schedule. As a result, the issue was resolved through the European representation of Belgium, which was understanding to the situation.

I don’t know what kind of miracle happened and how the stars converged, but I started looking for Belgian consuls from all over the world and their contacts, in the hope they know the consul from Russia and will be able to ask him to help us in this difficult situation. After my search and calls all over Europe, I found the contact of a person working in the first European department. After another retelling of our story and a plea for help, he said that he would not promise anything, but would definitely try.

Yesterday morning, he nonetheless called and clarified the numbers of our applications at the visa center, and after 3 minutes they called us back from the Consulate General of Belgium and said that we could pick up our passports with visas. You simply cannot convey these emotions! I got very emotional because I fought to the end and won!

PGL Major Antwerp 2022 will be held from May 9 to 22 in Antwerp, Belgium. forZe will start the tournament from the Challengers Stage, where, along with 15 other teams, they will compete for the spot in the top 8.
