Champion of Champions Tour tournament series created with $3.4 million to be contested over 1.5 years

GRID, together with its partners FACEIT, Eden Esports, Relog Media, Fantyasyexpo and Black Molly Entertainment, have announced a new tournament series called "Champion of Champions Tour". As part of the circuit, 56 events will be held from mid-2022 to early 2024, with a total prize pool of $3.4 million.

Champion of Champions Tour will be divided into three stages, which will take place in different regions of Europe and America. The series will begin with online tournaments with a $1.8 million of prize money, the winners of which will advance to the second stage and battle out another $1.1 million. In the course of the first two parts, participants will be awarded rating points needed to get invites to the $500,000 LAN final in January 2024.

At the regional level, the Champion of Champions Tour events will be organized by smaller tournament operators such as Beyond the Summit Brazil, REPUBLEAGUE, FiReSPORTS, Fragsters, Gjirafa and others.
