Outsiders withdraw from IEM Dallas 2022 qualifier due to visa issues

Outsiders have refused to participate in the closed European qualifier for IEM Dallas 2022, as announced by the tournament organizers on their Twitter, indicating problems with obtaining a visa as the reason.

Apeks will replace Dzhami "Jame" Ali's squad in the list of the closed European qualifier's participants. The team received the invitation having the best ESL rating among the teams that did not make it through the open qualifier.

The closed qualifier for IEM Dallas 2022 Europe will take place on May 2-4 online. Eight teams will compete for two spots in the upcoming LAN tournament in the USA in the Double Elimination best-of-three format.

Along with the announcement about the replacement of Outsiders with Apeks, the organizers also unveiled the European qualifier's bracket:

IEM Dallas 2022 will be held from May 30 to June 6 and will feature a total prize pool of $250,000.
