Copenhagen Flames and Players secure tickets to PGL Major Antwerp 2022

As part of the third round of Europe RMR B, two teams that have become the first of the participants in the ongoing tournament to earn spots in PGL Major Antwerp 2022 have been determined. These are Copenhagen Flames, who beat NIP (19:17 on Vertigo and 16:10 on Overpass), and Players, who defeated Astralis (16:13 on Ancient, 12:16 on Dust2 and 16:8 on Inferno).

The matchday also saw the teams becoming the main outsiders of the qualifying event, who, after three consecutive defeats, lost their chances for reaching the Major. Sprout were eliminated after losing to Endpoint (16:19 on Dust2, 16:7 on Vertigo and 14:16 on Ancient), while Sangal were sent packing after being bested by ASG (9:16 on Inferno and 5:16 on Ancient).

Besides the matches mentioned, four other meetings between the teams going 1-1 took place on April 22: G2, Anonymo, ENCE and SINNERS took over Bad News Eagles, Entropiq, HEET and Team Spirit, respectively.
